What child was this born in Bethlehem,
The One called King of the Jews?
No earthly choir was present to welcome Him,
But angelic host rejoiced, at heaven's wonderful news.
This Child was One like no other would ever be
Sent down from our Holy Father above,
He came with a mission to redeem and set souls free,
A gift of salvation and life, sent from God with love.
The holy one born in a manger, was royal in every way
He was crowned with glory from the Father on high,
The plan was fulfilled of God to bring a better day,
Men could live eternally, with Christ they would never die.
The Christ child was visited by wise men from afar
They brought treasures and gifts of gold,
Together they were led by Bethlehem's star,
To behold the 'Star' of the greatest story ever told.
We serve a wonderful Savior
He willingly gave His life that we might be free,
There is no greater gift in any season,
Jesus gave the greatest gift, on Calvary's rugged tree.
Glory to God in the highest, peace and good will to men
Jesus has saved our soul, He has redeemed us from sin.
May we always have a grateful heart, as we praise our Savior,
Rejoicing in His love and living in God's favor.
