Christmas Opening Page 2010 ~ Anchored In Him

Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings from Anchored In Him and God Bless. With the Christmas Season of 2010 now upon us, remember it is a time for giving, sharing, and being thankful. We are reminded of the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who had a wonderful love for others. Jesus came to this Earth to offer his life as a perfect gift so we could experience eternal life through Him. So let us remember that Christmas should be a time for giving to others. We should not expect anything in return as we celebrate His birth. "And the Angel said unto them, Fear not for, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on the earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:10 - 14.
This is the true meaning  of Christmas! The greatest gift anyone could ever receive is a lasting relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The gift of salvation is free to mankind, but costly to Jesus Christ who died at Calvary for our sins. What a gift my friend for you at Christmas is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it is a gift that will last for eternity. The gifts we receive from our loved ones we only have for a short time, but what we receive from Christ is forever. So often we become so busy with the hustle and bustle of doing "Christmas things" that we forget what the true meaning of Christmas is. Let us show our love to our fellow man not only at Christmas but throughout the year. We hope to see you in church and bring a friend.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our house to yours and may God Bless you and your family abundantly during this joyous time of the year and may Christ be the center of your Christmas.
