Resolutions Anew - Anchored In Him

Another day over another year through Time to start on resolutions anew. What will you do with a new year granted? Will you live your life for Him dedicated? Sharing His good news and being bold reading, trusting and walking in His word. Resolve to be a better person to prove Relying on His guidance to see you through. Will you give your life to him completely? That you may be a blessing to all you meet, or neglect the reason and proclamation of the truth of a promised salvation. Only you are responsible for your actions. What will your answer be to the question? Will you resolve to follow the true God? All will one day give an account to His law. A special thanks to Malta for use of her © December 2005. Friends as we close out 2013 the poem above says a lot to us. Do we share what God has done for us? Do we read our bible like we should? Do we trust God like we should? Do we walk with Him daily? God has blessed us in many ways! Even though the US as a nation has generally turned her back on God, He is still blessing us. He is knocking on America's door, but are we answering? As we begin 2014 we need and must make a resolution to do more for Jesus and His Church. We all have "reasons" (possibly an excuse) for not doing what God has called or laid upon our heart to do, visitation, working in VBS, choir; each of us knows what God wants us to do as a ministry. Don't let time slip away or run out! I will leave with this question for all; where would we be if Jesus had an excuse for not going to the Cross for us? We at Anchored In Him (Linda and I) would like to thank all of our subscribes for your prayers and sharing of our pages. We wish you prosperity, happiness and God's blessings upon you and your loved ones for the 2014 year. Make a resolution to invite someone to church, if you can get them into church there is a good possibility they may get saved. The seed is then sown, we must let God reap the harvest. We hope to see you in church ! ! ! Heavenly Father we ask that you guide and bless us throughout the year. Forgive us where we have failed you in this year and we shall seek repentance in the New Year for our sins and inequities. Dear God let us seek to be more like your Son Jesus. Father we thank thee for your blessings and love. We ask for your continued blessings upon us and give you the praise and honor. We ask for the healing of those sick and ill. Comfort those that have lost a loved one, give them the peace and understanding that passes all time. We ask that you protect our Armed Forces and their families. Let us be in your will not ours, we ask all these things in Christ Holy name. Amen In closing I leave with you for the book of Psalm:
Psalm 130

1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

O give thanks to the Lord of Lords: for his mercy endureth for ever . . .
