Forever chasing rainbows, 
souls seek wealth and fame
Many never realize, 
their work will be in vain.

Like bubbles in the air
that vanish in a moment's time,
The riches of this world will fade
and one day be left behind.

When we seek the Lord
and make Him first in life,
We find abundant blessings, 
Jesus takes away sin and strive.

There are many in this life 
Who do not redeem the time
Putting other things before the Lord
these find no true joy or peace of mind.

The heart which looks to Jesus
and rests within His love and care,
Knows great joy and peace,
for God is always there.

Our rainbow is one of God's promises
given by the Lord above
When we reach for His hand
He extends to us His grace and love.

So whatever your goal may be
Jesus must be Lord of all,
He'll give blessings and heavenly riches,
When on His precious name we call.
