Go deeper into me dear Lord
go deeper day by day,
until you have every part of me,
go deeper Lord I pray.

Go deeper into me dear Lord
search all my secret springs,
my thoughts, my deeds, and words,
both the big and the little things.

Go deeper into me dear Lord
as I lay my head upon Thy breast,
an empty shell I come to Thee,
I like to grow to be more like Thee.

Go deeper into me dear Lord
as I come on bended knee,
help make the rough places plain,
Heaven one day, I will gain.

Go deeper into me dear Lord
until I fully understand,
that all the bumps along the way,
through love dear Lord was planned.

Go deeper into me dear Lord
your Love and Truth I'll share,
draw closer Lord to me each day,
stay within my heart Lord I pray.
