Within every believer's heart 
there is a little light
there's a candle of the spirit 
that's always burning bright.
The brightness of the Savior, 
who is our dearest friend
will light the darkest night, 
As He shines from deep within.

Just a little light, 
can guide one on God's path
The Savior will forgive,
casting away all sin and wrath.
Just a little light 
warms the heart of mankind
The light of our Blessed Lord
shines brightly all the time.

Open up your heart
let God's light drive darkness away
Let Him be your Savior
As you bow to Him and pray.
The darkness has to flee
when God's light enters in
for He is the light and life
whose love will never end.

Yes, you can light the world
with the candle of the Lord
You can walk with the Savior
until you receive your heavenly reward.
Look up to the heavens
call on the Savior's name and pray,
for Jesus is the Light
He is the only way.
