Faith, what does it mean?
We're told that we have it the size of a mustard seed, if we use it it'll work, all we have to do is believe.
Believe you say that's all I have to do?
When my child is sick with cancer and he's barely turning two, they say that he is dying and there's nothing they can do,
please tell me about this faith I am begging you.
How can I believe in something I can't see?
Show me what to do, teach me to believe.
I've heard of this greater power Who loves us to no end, so much so He sent His Son to bear our every sin.
Faith is putting all your trust, your every wish and dream into the hands of the Almighty, a God we've never seen.
Somehow I feel better I don't feel so alone
this faith is very comforting it's like warmth that soothes the bones.
I know I have a way to go I don't claim to be there yet I'm learning in the process this is not as good as it can get.
Oh Dear God, I know you're hearing me,
could you spare a little peace?
I'm asking for your mercy and I'm doing it on my knees.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained access by faith into this
grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope
of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in
our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces
perseverance; perseverance, character; and
character,
hope.
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out
his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Romans 5:1-5
