We do not have to struggle in the dark today
Letting our fear shut out the light
God’s book of love will show the way
Making our lives beautiful and bright. 

God’s book of love is a lighthouse
Flashing out a welcome glow
Reaching into dark hidden places
His gleaming light will show. 

We thank Him for miracles, large or small
God’s book of love speaks of them all
And to make our life complete
Use His book as a lamp unto your feet.

It is true we do not know all the answers
To the trials we may face
But one thing we can depend on
God’s book of love will show the way.
