My wife and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Anchored In Him. Times have been tough and hard for our great nation this past year, but there are blessings all around us! If we continue to look to God on our knees we are looking up . . . Often we fail to see the forest because of the tree in front of us. Many have lost their earthly possessions, but if they are saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ they have the greatest treasure that there is and it is laid up in heaven. Jesus said there are many mansions in my Fathers house! There will be walls of Jasper and they will walk the streets of gold, oh what a day that will be ! ! !

I am sure that we all know of someone this Christmas Season that is having a tough time, help them out if you can and always give them words of encouragement. Give to those less fortunate, if you can and it will make you feel "good."
So often we fail to help those in need and yes I am aware of the many that are out to scam others. Pray for them, it is for God to judge them, not us.

If God has blessed you with a talent, use and share that talent. Many authors and web designers willingly give of their talents that God has blessed them with in support of our web site. We thank God for them sharing of their talents and please drop by their site or email them to let them know how much you appreciate their generosity and the giving of their talents and time.

Our great nation is still at war fighting terrorism and the war on evil. We must support our Armed Forces and pray for them and their families daily. I know of no one that does not know of someone that has a family member that is deployed or has returned from this war. Unfortunately within the past year our church family has had two of its members pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. The very beliefs and ideals that this great nation was founded upon are at stake. We must maintain and preserve our freedoms, stay the course and be patient. Pray for our leaders at all levels of our nation, pray that they will make decisions on bended knees in prayer.

I will close for this holiday season, count your blessings as they are there and above all thank God for what He has blessed you with. Keep your faith in God as He does and will provide for our needs, not our wants. Remember He answers prayer in His time not ours.
