Lord, let me stand in the thick of the fight,
Let me bear what I must without whining;
Grant me the wisdom to do what is right,
Though a thousand false beacons are shining.
Let me be true as the steel of a blade,
Make me bigger than skillful or clever;
Teach me to cling to my best, unafraid,
And harken to false gospels, never.
Let me be brave when the burden is great,
Faithful when wounded by sorrow;
Teach me, when troubled, with patience to wait
The better and brighter
tomorrow.
Spare me from hatred and envy and shame,
Open my eyes to life's beauty;
Let not the glitter of fortune or fame
Blind me to what is my duty.
Let me be true to myself to the end,
Let me stand to my task without whining;
Let me be right as a man, as a friend,
Though a thousand false beacons are shining.

heart.
We
at Anchored In Him
challenge all to
bring one that is
lost to accept
Christ as their
personal savior this
year. Attend
church on a regular
basis, we all need
our souls fed and
fellowship as well
as support from
Christians.
You cannot get this
from the media!
Our great nation
faces many
challenges in the
New Year. The
country is
struggling to
recover from job
losses, bring them
back from overseas
and that will end
the problem.
We have people in
the government that
are pushing this
nation into
Socialism as fast as
they can get us
there!
Remember
Christianity and
Socialism cannot
thrive together as
government wants to
control people and
their life!
The party that is in
control of the
government not only
supports abortion,
but wants all
Americans to fund
and support
this. WAKE
UP America
this is not what God
wants! God
will punish our
nation if we do not
turn from our evil
ways, He done it to
other nations as it
is written in the
Holy Bible. We
are still fighting a
war against
terrorism, many
Americans believe
that we should leave
these fronts.
I am here to tell
you that if we do
not fight this evil
on their soil we
will fight it on
ours! These
radicals will do
anything to take
this nation down and
turn it into what
they want.
God
has been good to us
the past year, He
has blessed us in so
many ways that it
would take more than
this page to list
His blessings.
Think about how He
has blessed
you! So often
in our daily life we
will look at a glass
of water half
empty. Look at
it in the positive
perspective and
being half
full! If you
have your health and
your family you are
truly blessed by God
as many are
struggling with both
of these. I
will close on this
page and my
challenge to all is
to invite a friend
to church, bring a
lost one into the
fold and thank God
daily for His
blessings.
