Early morning with God is a magnificent show
His magical colors set the world aglow
Each sunrise brings a lovely surprise
Watching it unfold brings tears to the eyes.


God creates wonder in a mysterious way
His never-ending skill we see every day
Holding us spellbound it seems
Early morning with God is like a dream.


Early morning begins with each new dawn
With sparkling dew He left on the lawn
And the sweetness of the morning air
Lets us know God has already been there.


How can we doubt that God lives when we see
His lovely sun rise high over the trees
Proclaiming his existence with the beauty He gives 
With His love and wonderful majesty.


From the mountaintops to the valleys below 
And the joy you feel in a tiny leaf of gold 
Seen on a spreading chestnut tree
God has been there wherever you go.


Kneeling before God in a gentle breeze
Watching the sun rise slowly with ease
Early morning with God is a quiet time to pray 
And to find peace in your heart for the day.
