Merry
Christmas and Happy Holidays from
our house to yours from Anchored In Him
and God Bless. With the Christmas Season
now upon us, we remember it is a time for
giving and sharing. Above all let us thank
God for the blessings from Him.
We celebrate the Birth of our Lord
Jesus Christ who's love and compassion
for others is unmatched. Jesus was
born of a virgin when he came to Earth
to offer His life as a perfect gift. This
gift allows us eternal life through Him
once we are saved. Remember that
Christmas is a time for giving. We
should not expect anything in return as
we celebrate His birth.
"And the Angel said unto them, Fear
not; for, behold I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be
to all people. For unto you is born
this day in the city of David a Savior,
which is Christ the Lord. And this
shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall
find the babe wrapped in swaddling
clothes, lying in a manger. And
suddenly there was with the
angel a multitude of the heavenly
host, praising God and saying,
Glory to God in the highest,
and on the earth peace, good
will toward men." Luke 2:10 -
14.
This is the true meaning of Christmas!
The greatest gift anyone could ever receive
is a lasting relationship with our Lord Jesus
Christ. The gifts we receive from our loved
ones we only have for a short time, but
what we receive from Christ is forever.
As you enter our 2003 Christmas pages
below please feel free to share
them with family and friends. Remember
without Christ there is no Christmas.
Again Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and God Bless
all.
If the
truth were known and we
could see
With eyes into tomorrow,
Our prayers of yesterday
were heard
In the midst of all our
sorrow.
Without
prayers, some foot may
slip
From the path that leads
to life.
Without our prayers,
some precious friend
Would fight alone the
strife.
Without
talking with God of
plans and hopes,
How could I face the
day?
Without His counsel and
care,
Who else would guide my
way?
Prayer
is the call for the
cleansing wave
In the heart of a
down-trodden soul,
Prayer is the first step
to bring one to God,
The savior is waiting to
make that life whole.
